Dr. Sreejit Nair is a leader in the field of endovascular surgery and a pioneer in bringing advanced, minimally invasive vascular care to rural and underserved communities. As the co-founder of Sunrise Vascular, he has been instrumental in establishing a network of outpatient clinics dedicated to treating complex vascular conditions without the need for major surgery.
Dr. Nair specializes in state-of-the-art, image-guided interventions for peripheral arterial disease (PAD), deep and superficial venous conditions, and uterine fibroids. His work is driven by a commitment to providing safe, effective, and compassionate care, ensuring patients have access to the latest treatments, including angioplasty, atherectomy, stenting, and embolization.
In addition to his clinical leadership at Sunrise Vascular, Dr. Nair serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Campbell University, where he mentors the next generation of medical professionals. He is a dedicated innovator and researcher, holding multiple patents for novel vascular devices and actively participating as a principal investigator in numerous clinical trials, including the
AURYON BTK Trial, the MOTION Trial, the DEEPER REVEAL Trial, the AVEERA DVA Trial, and the AcoArt Litos BTK Trial, to advance the science of endovascular medicine.
Dr. Nair is a prolific contributor to the medical community, having authored numerous peer-reviewed publications including “Occluded Tibiopedal Access to Cross and Treat Complex Tibial Artery Occlusive Disease in a Patient With Critical Limb Ischemia” and “Endovascular Treatment of PAD and CLTI Can Be Safely Performed With 4F Arterial Access” in Vascular Disease Management. He is a frequently invited speaker at national conferences, including New Cardiovascular Horizons and the North Carolina Foot and Ankle Society, where he shares his expertise on critical limb ischemia and advanced vessel access techniques.
Dr. Nair earned his medical degree from the prestigious Weill Cornell Medical College. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology and a fellowship in Vascular & Interventional Radiology at New York Presbyterian Hospital–Weill Cornell Medical Center, where he was honored with the title of Chief Fellow. His rigorous training also included experience at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the Hospital for Special Surgery.
